After all these are pretty important documents after you

If you have not done so, please read the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution

After all, these are pretty important documents! After you have read the above documents, please consider what our Founding Fathers were thinking when they wrote and acted on them. Why did they write them? What were their core values and beliefs? Did our Founding Father's envision a small central government with limited authority? Or, did they envision a strong central government where States had limited authority? Does the 10th Amendment have any meaning at all?

Now, take a look at our government and society "today." Are our values and beliefs consistent with those of our Founding Fathers? If given the opportunity, how would we write the documents -- or would we? If our Founding Fathers were alive today, what would they think about how we have "turned out?" Have we honored their sacrifices and are we following the plan as set forth in these documents? After all, our Founding Fathers pledged "to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor."
