Advise for the cempaka resort

Problem: Dahlan is the owner of Cempaka Resort. He has decided to go and visit his brother in Jakarta for two months. On 1 November 2009, he left and put his assistant Badrul in charge of the resort with instructions "to manage it in my absence" and agreed to pay Badrul a commission of ten per cent of the monthly turnover. He also instructed Badrul to sell his house in Taman Mesra for "not less than RM250,000." Upon returning from Jakarta, Dahlan discovered that Badrul had hired a contractor to build a new gazebo at a cost of RM 15,000. He also bought large supplies of groceries on credit from LowPrice Supermarket, although Dahlan had specifically told him that he must only purchase groceries from Sahara Food Mart. Both the contractor and LowPrice Supermarket are pressing Dahlan for payment. Badrul told Dahlan that he had managed to sell Dahlan's house for RM 250,000. However, Badrul did not mention that the buyer had given him a commission of RM5.000. Dahlan is upset with the whole thing and asks you for advice. Advise Dahlan.
