Advantages of Stare Decisis - Flexibility
Since of the freedom that final Court of Appeal always has to depart from a previous decision of its own whether the social conditions that necessitated such decision no longer exist, there is flexibility in administration of the law as the human societies grow and become more complex. Hence point was particularly emphasized through the then Court of Appeal for the East Africa in Dodhia v National and the Grind lays Bank.
