ADOLESCENCE -
It is the period of growth from the onset of puberty to the completion of growth & maturity. It extends between 12- 20 yrs.
It is a period of rapid physical & psychlogical changes.
As a health problem all adolescents have acne (An erruptive skin disease caused by inflammation of sebaceus gladns), chiefly on face.
Treatment includes regular cleaning & local applications of keralolytic lotion or gel and antibiotic.
