Problem: How could lack of funding and support by the community because of political views (republican) affect the implementation of a program that serves the Latino population by addressing the social determinant of health related to healthcare access and quality in the Latino population and help decrease the rates of obesity in the adult Latino population, by addressing the barriers to access and quality by providing free-monthly-community educational clinics held by the county health clinic to teach about diabetes and nutrition, as well as provide resources for those without health insurance or access to primary care? These clinics would offer interpretive services to assist people with the insurance enrollment process for private, state, or emergency insurance, as well as teachings and information for enrollment with other primary care services at local clinics like Virginia Garcia, the County Health Clinic, and McMinnville Free Clinics.
