Address sahirs behaviour using traditional approaches

Case Study: Sahir is the most active student in your kindergarten class. He tends to be very disruptive when the teacher you work with is teaching the class, and even more so when you are helping him. Sahir challenges everything that you ask of him. When you acknowledge a student for a behavior that you like, Sahir will do the exact opposite of that behavior - which is often distracting to the whole group you are working with because then you need to dedicate learning time to correcting him. He seems to have absolutely no respect for his fellow students or for you. You really would like to focus on Sahir because you feel that you need to learn different strategies to work with him and other students like him. List and explain at least 3 concerns you would have if an educator were to address Sahir's behaviour using traditional approaches to discipline. Identify one antecedent, one behaviour, and one consequence described in the case study. How might you explain Sahir's behaviour in terms of the A-B-C Model? List and explain 2 ways in which school-wide PBIS might assist Sahir in modifying his behaviour.
