Select an actual emergency requiring state or local response. Prepare a PowerPoint briefing to critique the use of the major learning points from Homeland Security that emergency management officer is facing and the strengths and weaknesses as well as coordination with outside agencies required. Include at least five peer reviewed journals articles located through the research. As a minimum, the case study should contain the following information:
• Introduction
• Historical overview
• Description of the problem
• Assessment or appraisal of the problem
• Proposed intervention and rationale
• Actual or expected outcome or resolution of problem
• References Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as "speaker notes" for each slide. The speaker notes may be comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists.
