Activities and Types of Scheduling
Scheduling includes the followings activities
1. Allocation of quality and rate of output of the plant or department. And
2. Allocation of time allowed to each operation. It indicated where work would be released to the plant in a prescribed order in the proper sequence. It fixes the time of starting and completion of each operation.
Kinds of Scheduling
There are three types of scheduling master scheduling, operations and detailed operations scheduling.
1. Master Scheduling records the time to be taken and competing the process. It is on wise basis .
2. Operations scheduling fixes the time of starting and completion of a job.
3. Detailed operation Scheduling fixes the time to be taken to complete each detailed operations of a given job.
