1.A concrete sewer pipe is running under the finished water tank. The pipe can resist up to 2000 psi of applied pressure.Would the pipe be able to resist the applied pressure due to the water tank ?
2.Accounting for all the moment equations at Point O is throwing me off. The collar at A seems to be a fixed body that would induce a moment? Also why we were given the radius of the sheave @ point C is confusing.
