The study that was conducted with 3,000 participants reviewed fear, anger, sadness, shame, guilt, joy, and disgust. All of these individual's had the same "triggers" indicating that there is not much difference in cultures when eliciting an emotional response. That being said, we have such cultural differences in roles.
