Acceleration due to gravity constant throughout the ascent

The temperature close to the surface of the earth is 305 K. A xenon atom (atomic mass = 131.29 u) consists of a kinetic energy equivalent to the average translational kinetic energy and is moving straight up. When the atom doesn’t collide with any other atoms or molecules, then how high up would it go before coming to rest? Suppose that the acceleration due to gravity is constant throughout the ascent.
