Assignment:
You will interview a practicing school counselor about his/her theoretical approach to counseling and how he/she would utilize its techniques and strategies in session. Your interview can take place in person, via Video Conferencing (e.g. Zoom) or by phone. In 1 to 2 pages, you will discuss:
• The school counselor interviewee's personal theory and why they believe it is effective.
• The specific ways in which the school counselor interviewee applies their theoretical orientation (e.g. strategies/techniques
• Challenges/limitations experienced by the school counselor interviewee in using the theoretical orientation in their school and
• Your opinion about the use of the school counselor interviewee's techniques and theoretical orientation
