Denial-of-Service has become prevalent, seeing that many people have acquired handhelds and other internet accessing paraphernalia. However, online security has not grown with similar lengths. That way, there exists a gap between the security needs of internet users, and the available remedies to cyber-attacks (Ghorbani, 2010). To this effect, this team is developing a test suite, that checks for network intrusions and mal-ware infections in devices. The testing tool will be cross-platform; hence, will run on all platforms. The complete product will include a GUI, from where the user can select the types of tests to run on the gadget. The inner workings of the system will occur in the background since the technicality surpasses the knowledge of most users. The team aims at providing internet users with a tool through which they can detect and invalidate Denial of Service and intrusion attacks.
