Assuming an ideal transformer and that it operates within its rated values, determine the maximum number of bulbs that can be used.
b) A transformer is used to match impedances of 10 KΩ and 600Ω. Determine the turns-ratio for the transformer.
c) Questions (1) and (2) refer to an ideal or perfect transformer. In real life, transformers have losses which cause their behaviour to deviate from the ideal.
Consider the reasons for this non-ideal behaviour with reference to the above questions.
Explain the differences that you would expect if the load (lamps) in question 3a had consisted of reactive loads.
