A water pump can generate a pressure diference deltap psi

A water pump can generate a pressure diference ΔP (psi) given by ΔP=145-0.1Q2, Q is the flow rate in ft3/s. It suplies a pipe of diameter 20", roughness of .5 inches and length of 2500 ft.

What is the flow rate, pressure difference and power supplied to the 70% efficient pump. If the pipe was replaced with one of roughness .25 inches, how much would the flow increase and what would be the power required?

Properties: μ (dynamic viscosity) = 2.10x10-5 lb-s/ft2 δ (density) = 1.94 slug/ft3
