A vertical oil well is producing from a saturated reservoir

1. A vertical oil well is producing from a saturated reservoir with average reservoir pressure of 3000 psig. The well is flowing at the stabilized rate of 400 STB/day at bottomhole flowing pressure of 2580 psig. Please do the following using constant productivity index method, Vogel method, and Wiggins method:

1) The maximum production rate at average reservoir pressure of 3000 psig
2) Construct the IPR at average reservoir pressure of 3000 psig, and plot them in one chart
3) Construct the IPR at average reservoir pressure of 2700 psig,and plot them in one chart

2. A horizontal well 2500 ft long drains an estimated area of 120 acres. The reservoir is characterized as an isotropic formation with the following properties:

Kv = kh = 60md,     h = 70 ft,

Bo = 1.4 bbl/STB,    µo = 1.9 cp

Pe = 3900 psi,         pwf = 3250 psi

rw = 0.30 ft

Assume steady state flow regime, calculate the flow rate using the Borisov method and Giger, Reiss and Jourdan method.
