b. Report the correlation r.

c. Tell whether the relationship is strong and negative, weak and negative, weak and positive, or strong and positive.

d. It is possible that the relationship seen between weight and TV time is really due to gender. Separate the weights and TV times for males and females, and produce correlations separately for males and females.

e. It is commonly believed that because of the sedentary nature of TV viewing, heavier people tend to watch more TV. Is this claim supported by the survey data set?

f. The regression equation for males is Weight 167 0.06(TV). Report the y-intercept and tell what it means in this context.

g. The regression equation predicts an additional 0.06 pound for every additional minute of TV watched for the males. How many additional pounds does it predict for every hour of TV watched?
