A three phase generator is connected to a three phase load

A three phase generator is connected to a three phase load via a step up three phase transformer, a short three phase transmission line and a step down three phase transformer. The component ratings are as shown below :

Generator: Y connected: 46kVA, 230V, X=0.08pu

Step up Transformer: 50KVA, 230/2300V, X=0.06pu

Transmission line: 2+j4?

Step Down Transformer: 50 kVA, 2300/115V, X=0.06pu

Load Y connected: 40kVA at 0.8 power factor lag

i) Draw a one line diagram

ii) Convert all the per unit values to a common kVA base of 100 and transmission side voltage base of 2500V

iii) To maintain one per unit voltage at rated load, find the per unit generator voltage needed.

iv) Find

a. Load current in Ampsa.

b. Current through the transmission line in Amps

c. Generator current in Amps

d. Generator voltage in volts.
