A study of pollution levels in Paradise Creek, Moscow, was made a few years ago. What is now the Sweet Avenue Blue parking lot (where the new bus depot is) was the site of a fertilizer plant and the plot of land it was on had been highly contaminated by the plant. The Paradise Creek was sampled for ammonia at three locations: upstream from the plant, at the Sweet Avenue site, and downstream from the plant (near Wicks Field).

The data is located in a csv file called Sweetave. Your assignment is to conduct an analysis of variance using your program of choice, with pairwise comparisons (Fisher's LSD) of means, and model diagnostics. Your main research question to answer with the analysis is are there difference in contaminants at the different sites, and if there are, and which site do those differences in contaminants come from (is the at the site ammonia more than the downstream? More than the upstream? The same? Etc.).

Hand in:

Executive summary of the analysis results, interpreted in your own words. The discussion must include the overall ANOVA, the results of pairwise comparisons, and the diagnostics.

(1) All code used

(2) Boxplots of ammonia by site

(3) ANOVA output (include hypotheses, pvalues and conclusions in context)

(4) Mean pollution levels and pollution level standard deviations (not the overall mean and overall standard deviation, but one for each factor level)

(5) Fisher's LSD pairwise comparisons

(6) Appropriate diagnostic plots
