3.A spherical pressure vessel has an outer diameter of 10 ft and a wall thickness of 0.5 in. knowing that for the steel used ?all= 12 ski, E= 29 x 10^6 psi, and v= 0.29, determine

(a) the allowable gage pressure,

(b) the corresponding increase in the diameter of the vessel.
