A single-stage ideal regenerative steam cycle has a boiler

A single-stage ideal regenerative steam cycle has a boiler pressure and temperature of 5000 kPa and 500 C, and a condensing pressure of 10 kPa. The extraction pressure is 500 kPa. Find (i) the net work, in kJ/kg, (ii) the work ratio, and (iii) the thermal efficiency if the regenerative heater is:

a) a closed heater with the condensate pumped into the line following the heater (TTD=7 C)

b) a closed heater with the condensate trapped to the condenser (TTD=7 C)

c) an open heater.
