A rod 1.500 m long consists of a 0.900 m length of aluminium joined end-to-end to a 0.600 m length of brass. The free end of the aluminium section is maintained at 160C and the free end of the brass piece is maintained at 20C. No heat is lost during the sides of the rod. At a steady state, what is the temperature T of the point where the two metals are joined?
