A researcher wants to know if presenting specific feedback

A researcher wants to know if presenting specific feedback about performance will be more effective than general/ vague feedback about performance on a computer task. The researcher assigns participants to a Group A and Group B using a random assigment table. Participants in Group A are tested on Saturday morning and ar asked to engage in a computer task. The researcher only provided participants with vague information related to their completion of a computer task. Participants in Group B are tested on Friday evening and were told the percentage of sections they completed correctly and what they could do to improve in the following section by the experimenter. Participants in Group B performed significantly better when provided with specific feedback.
