A racecar approaches the startfinish line of a race track

A racecar approaches the start/finish line of a race track with a speed of 100 m/s. A speaker (called the ground speaker) next to the start/finish line emits a tone of frequency 256 Hz (middle C on a piano). A second speaker on the racecar (called the car speaker) also emits a tone of frequency 256 Hz. A listener on the ground hears the car speaker at a Doppler shifted frequency. The driver of the car hears the ground speaker at a Doppler shifted frequency as well. Take the speed of sound in air to be 340 m/s. A) The Doppler shifted frequency observed by the person on the ground is Hz. B) The Doppler shifted frequency observed by the driver is Hz. C) Explain (using Physics not Mathematics) why there is a difference between the two observed frequencies even though the relative speed between both source and observer is the same in both cases.
