A piston performs reciprocal motion in a straight line which can be modelled as s.h.m its velocity is 20 m/s when the displacement is 80 mm from the mid-piston, and 4 m/s when the displacement is 160 mm from the mid piston.

Determine:

a). The frequency and amplitude of the motion.

b). The accelerations when the displacement is 130 mm from the mid- piston.

i) A spiral spring is loaded with a mass of 6 kg which extends it by 110 mm. Calculate the period of vertical oscillations.
