Hello. I was wondering if anyone could provide any additional support to these questions. I am almost certain they are 0.16 and 1300, but another perspective/insight on the question with the work explained would possibly help me learn something as well.
1. An order has been placed for a patient to receive insulin glargine, 16 units subcutaneously daily at 1800. The nurse is using U-100 (100 units per mL). What is the prescribed dose in mL?
2. A patient has been prescribed acetaminophen 325 mg, 2 tabs, Q6H PRN for pain. If the patient received 2 doses in one day, how many mg will have been administered?
