A particle moves in a plane with a constant radial velocity

A particle moves in a plane with a constant radial velocity rhat = 4 m/s. The angular velocity is constant and has magnitude θhat = 2 rad/s. When the particle is 3 m from the origin, find the magnitude of the acceleration. I already found the magnitude of the velocity to be √(52) m/s and I know this to be correct. Now, I am just not sure how to use the information I have been given to find the acceleration (nor why there is acceleration when the two velocity vectors are constant...?)
