A lsquoc-core inductor has a total air-gap length of 3 mm

A ‘c-core' inductor has a total air-gap length of 3 mm and a cross-sectional area of 100 cm2. Two coils are wound on the core - one of 500-turns and another of 250-turns. Assuming the iron reluctance, fringing flux and leakage flux to be negligible, calculate:

The reluctance of the magnetic circuit.
The inductance of each coil.
The mutual inductance between the coils.
The flux and flux density when 5A flows in the 500-turns coil only.
The stored energy under these conditions.
The peak emf in each coil when the current I in the 500-turns coil is given by; i = 5 sin(100 ?t) A.

If the coils are now connected in series so that their mmfs reinforce, find the overall inductance of the combination. How would this overall inductance be affected if the connections to the 250-turns coil were reversed, but it was still in series with the 500-turns coil, so that the mmfs acted in opposition?
