A long coaxial cable consists of an inner cylindrical

A long coaxial cable consists of an inner cylindrical conductor with radius a, isolated from an outer coaxial cylindrical conductor of inner radius b and outer radius c. The outer cylinder has no net charge whereas the inner cylinder has a positive linear charge density.

1. Find the electric field everywhere is space. Draw E as a function of r.

2. Obtain the linear charge densities on the inner and outer surfaces of the outer cylinder.
