A groundwater primarily at ph 83 with an alkalinity of 1102

To mitigate CO2 emissions to the atmosphere some have suggested injecting CO2 into deep groundwater. A groundwater primarily at pH 8.3 with an alkalinity of 1*102 M will have CO2 injected until the groundwater comes to equilibrium with P(CO2)=10 bar. Prior to adding the CO2 the groundwater acts as a closed system.

(a) Explain what is the total inorganic carbon (C(T)) of the ground water before CO2 injection?

(b) Define what are the alkalinity, total inorganic Carbon ((C(T)), an pH of the groundwater after equilibration with the injected P(CO2)
