a) draw a schematic diagram of the network showing all workstations, servers, segments and bridges (or gateways or routers or brouters).
b) State which network software is used in the LAN and describe how the software facilitates the functions which a typical user might wish to perform (e.g. file sharing, printing, accessing the internet, etc.)
c) describe what tools (hardware and software) are available to eneable a network manager to:
1. monitor the usage of the lan
2. add additional workstations without taking the lan out of service
3. ensure the complete security of the lan.
d) describe briefly a business application with you are familiar and comment on how suitable the lan would be for the implementation of that application, either stand alone or as a node in some wider communication network
