INSTRUCTIONS
Select a television show to watch. Create a 7- to 10-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® or Prezi presentation in which you present about your favorite television program.
Include the following in your presentation: A brief analysis of the television program you selected A summary of the television episode you watched
Identification of the intended audience of the television program and the messages that were communicated in the episode
An explanation of the ways in which audiences create meaning from media messages
An explanation of the relationship between mainstream media and political processes
A discussion of the importance of audiences becoming media producers Format your presentation consistent with APA guidelines, and include references.
For Local Campus students, the Microsoft® PowerPoint® or Prezi presentation must be a 10- to 15-minute oral presentation.
For Online and Directed Study students, the Microsoft® PowerPoint® or Prezi presentation must include detailed speaker notes.
