Forensic Pathology
A deceased pedestrian is found by the side of the road on a rural highway at sunrise by a man on his way to work. He appears to have been struck by a vehicle. Describe what injuries you would look for that would indicate the following:
- The position of the victim at impact.
- Speed of the vehicle.
- The parts of the vehicle that came in contact with the victim.
Also, discuss what secondary impact injuries you would expect to see in the victim.
