A current carrying 10 gauge 1013-in dia copper wire is

A current carrying 10 gauge (.1013-in dia) copper wire is insulated with a .05 in thick layer of rubber. The maximum temperature of thr rubber is 200F when the temperature of the air is 120F. The external heat transfer coefficient can be taken as 4 Btu/hr-ft^2-F. For copper wire , kw=220 Btu/hr-ft^2-F and of rubber insulation is ki= 0.08  Btu/hr-ft^2-F. Assume the electrical resistance of the wire is 1.288 ohms/1000 linear feet.

1) Determine the temperature (F) of the outside surface of the insulation.

2) Assuming uniform energy generation inside the wire determine the temperature (F) at the center of the wire.

3) Determine the electric current (A) in the wire.
