How often to do you have to give presentations, if at all? Do you video / record yourself or say your presentation out loud in front of the mirror or even wearing the clothes you plan to give the talk in (a much recommended tip) - a couple of you have already shared their empowering secrets or stated how they feel when watching themselves. Do you have a memory of your best or worst presentation experience? What made it so?
Bearing in mind the idea of repetition, think about a comedian whose material you enjoy. Have you ever watched a number of sketches including some of the same jokes/material and realised that he/she is able to reproduce it in such a way as to make it seem as if it were being said for the first time. Just funny or practise?
It's fair to say that good speakers vary in style (look at the styles of Barack Obama and Margaret Thatcher), but what is it that makes you want to listen to someone apart from a possible interest in the subject matter?
Finally, what would you say you should NOT do when preparing / giving a speech?
