A buck-boost converter works with an input voltage of 12 v

A buck-boost converter works with an input voltage of 12 V and switching frequency 10 kHz. The load resistance of 24 Ω requires doubled input voltage. The inductor and capacitors are 1 mH and 100 μF, respectively.

Determine
(a) Duty cycle.

(b) Magnitude of the average input current.

(c) Magnitude of the average inductor current.

(d) The peak of the inductor current

(e) Sketch the waveforms for the diode current iD(t) and diode voltage vD(t). Show and label the sequence in which the diode conducts.

(f) Peak to peak output ripple voltage.

(g) Determine the output capacitance if the switching frequency is increased to 100 kHz.
