- Describe a health question that needs aggregated data to answer it.
- Create 2 or 3 small example data sets (between 5 and 10 records each)
- Specify a number of data linkage rules that can be applied in order to link the records from your datasets.
- Apply your linkage rules to your data sets and give the resulting linked data set (about 5 records in the linked data set is enough).
Literature Review (for Master students only)
Length: 1 page
Master students, who are taking the Advanced Healthcare Data Environments unit, should also:
- Search for a research paper related to the same topic, published in a scientific journal, conference proceedings or book chapter (note that it must be a formal scientific publication, so not a website or a blog or some popular-scientific article).
- Give a one page summary of this paper, including your own critique and reflections.
- Make sure you include a proper reference to the paper.
