1. Construct a process flow chart showing times and all flows, using all the activities below (invent any extra information that you need), so that I can make breakfast as quickly as possible. You can vary the sequence to make the process as quick as possible.
a) It takes 1 minute to take milk out of fridge on to counter.
b) It takes 1 minute to put milk back in fridge from counter.
c) It takes 1 minute to get oatmeal from cupboard to counter.
d) It takes 1 minute to put oatmeal back in cupboard.
e) It takes 30 seconds to mix oats and milk into bowl and put in microwave.
f) It takes 1 minute to microwave porridge (mixture of oatmeal and milk).
g) It takes 30 seconds to take bowl of hot porridge from microwave to table.
h) The milk takes 4 minutes to boil on the stove in a pan.
i) Sometimes the milk boils over; then I have to clean up stove (3 minutes).
j) It takes 1 minute to pour hot milk onto cocoa in mug, mix, and take mug to table.
k) It takes 3 minutes to clean pans, etc., in sink and put on drying rack.
