1. What should be our position on immigration ? During our history, has immigration had a positive or negative impact on this country? Which of these policies would you favor-Republican or Democrat? Why? Does the Trump approach make us safer?
2. Healthcare policy. In this country, should healthcare be a right or a privilege? The candidates have very different views on the Affordable Care Act-what is your opinion? If you feel that healthcare should be available to all, how do we finance?
3. Tax policy-which of the two approaches do you favor. Is our current tax structure fair and equitable? Do you think progressive taxation should be used in this country? What suggestions do you have that would improve out tax system.
4. What is your opinion about the minimum wage? Would we have more jobs in our economy if we abolished it entirely?
5. International trade. Which approach do you favor and why? How does trade policy impact jobs?
6. Environmental Policy. Are there legitimate environmental concerns? What should be our policy?
7. Government regulation. Do we need more or less regulation on air and water pollution? More or less regulation on our banking system? More or less regulation on products where consumer safety is an issue?
8. Do we need more spending on defense? Why of why not?
