2. What can be done indigenously and internationally to help alleviate the problem of starvation in these nations?
3. What responsibilities does the United States have, if any, to intervene in these countries' indigenous problems while, externally, providing financial aid and/or massive shipments of food to these countries?
4. In short, what should the United States be doing to help reduce starvation in the world?
5. Choose a least developed country that you would like to know more about (see pages 198-199, 10th Ed. and pages 208-209, 11th Ed. for a list of these). Research the country and report to the class the kinds of challenges that are faced by your country of choice. Find out if the United States currently offers support to your country of choice, explain what type of support, if any. In your opinion what are the most pressing needs this country faces and how might the United States help? Cite your references.
