For this minimum 3 – 4 page paper, you are to:
1. Identify a social problem in your current community.
2. Interview or discuss with one civil service employee from the community their impression of the problem in their community.
Examples of people you can interview include teachers, police officers, social workers, city workers, etc.
3. Find-reference-integrate a minimum of two articles dealing specifically with that social problem.
The articles do not need to be from or about your community specifically, but they do need to be about the social problem you are exploring.
4. Offer one alternative for change that is your own idea, in addition to ideas for change that may already have been implemented, or that are suggested in the articles. Include a plan for how this alternative could be implemented.
