Your governance audit should:
1. Describe the institution ‘Auburn city council'.
2. Assess this institution (auburn city council) against each of the six UK Commission Principles of Good Governance. Please refer to the
Questions for Members of the Public (pages 3132 of the Independent Commission reading, above) when addressing each of the six principles.
3. Recommend at least three improvements in one of the six governance areas.
4. Need to incorporate into this assessment "framework" legislation such as the Local Government Act and to look at the website of the Office of Local Government for documents related to local government in NSW. I also mention you may have to call or go in to the council if you can't find particular information on the website.
