Gas Turbines are used for electric power generation and in jet engines of the air craft. It is also used in the turbochargers of internal combustion (IC) engines. They have limited application in marine engines. Gas turbines have a unique advantage of using any type of fuel. i.e., Solid, liquid or gas.
