What is deplasmolysis of plant cells

Deplasmolysis of plant cells: The plant cell when located beneath hypertonic medium loses a huge amount of water and its cell membrane detaches from cell wall. In that condition the cell is termed as plasmolysed cell. Whenever the plasmolysed cell is located beneath hypertonic medium it absorbs water and becomes turgid cell. This phenomenon is termed as deplasmolysis.
