What do you mean by the term wholesaling? Briefly describe the scenario of the wholesaling in Indian market?

Wholesaling comprises purchasing goods in bulk from the manufacturer and selling them to the other buyer (usually the retailer) for resale or business reason. Wholesale trading, as pre-independence era has been conquered by the Indian trading community. Though, as of now, we as well have foreign investors in the wholesale deal scenario who have been exhibiting a keen interest in this region of business. Such companies are entering into the Indian market as trading organizations and sourcing and selling domestically. They are providing our domestic traders a hard competition!
