Production Lead Time: It is the time interval between the placement of a contract and receipt into supply system of materiel bought. Two entries are given: (i) Initial--The time interval when the item is not under production as of the date of contract placement. (ii) Reorder--The time interval when the item is under production as of the date of contract placement.
