The two types of communications are: Analog and digital communication.
As a technology, analog is the method of taking an audio or video signal (that is, the human voice) and translating it to electronic pulses. Digital on the other hand is breaking down the signal into a binary format where the audio and video data is symbolized by a series of 1’s and 0’s.
Digital signals are resistant to noise, quality of transmission and reception is good, components utilized in digital communication can be generated with high precision and power consumption is as well much less when compared with the analog signals.
