Briefly describes the systems development life cycle.

It is the traditional technique to maintain, develop, and change information systems which includes the project selection and identification, project initiation and analysis, planning, physical design, logical design, implementation, and maintenance steps. The process is a sequence of steps which are ideally completed in a linear fashion. In realism, the process is not linear and the process requires steps to be overlap and a revised of steps.
