Job Analysis is a procedure, by which pertinent information is received about a job, that is, it is a detailed and methodical study of information relating to operation and responsibilities of a particular job. An authority has stated job analysis as the procedure of determining, by observation and study, and reporting pertinent detail relating to the nature of the particular job. It is the determination of the tasks which include the job and of skills, knowledge, capabilities and responsibilities needed of the worker for a successful performance and which discriminate one job from all others.
