Schottky TTL and Low power Schottky TTL
Specify the difference between the Schottky TTL and Low power Schottky TTL? Explain in detail.
Expert
Schottky TTL devices are generally very fast, proficient of operating reliably at 100 megahertz. The power dissipation is about 20mW and the propagation delay time of Scottky TTL is around 3ns. Some of the examples are 74S00, 74S01, and so on.
In the low power Schottky TTL, the speed is low. The power dissipation is about 2mW and the propagation delay time is around 10ns. Some of the examples of these devices are 74LS00, 74LS01, 74LS02, and so on.
